Avalokiteshvara emerges from his own seed syllable Hrih at the heart, with Om Mani Padme Hum radiating outward in bold calligraphy to form his entire body — and woven throughout, in miniature script, the long-life prayers dedicated to HH the Dalai Lama. Body, speech, and mind of the Bodhisattva of Compassion, inseparable from the prayers for his living emanation. A profound piece by Jamyang Dorjee Chakrishar for any altar, shrine room, or Tibetan home.

About the Artist: Jamyang Dorjee Chakrishar is a Tibetan master calligrapher born in Lhasa. His work — termed "Dharma Art" by Lama Zopa Rinpoche — uses calligraphy to depict Buddhist deities and sacred texts, encompassing the Buddha's body, speech, and mind.
